Rural Trip Diary Day 3
We’re wrapping up the rural tour tonight at the Douglas County Democrats fundraising dinner. Rory’s going to give a speech at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden in a few minutes. Congresswoman Shelley Berkley will also be speaking to the 300 Democrats here.
By the end of this trip we’ll have traveled nearly 650 miles and talked to hundreds of voters in the diverse communities along Interstate 80 and U.S. 50.
Earlier today, Rory toured the Nevada Copper Mine in Yerington and made quick stops in Austin and Fallon.

The travels across the eastern and central parts of Nevada have been tremendous. From the ranches of Lovelock to the mines of Yerington people are nervous about the state’s short-term problems and concerned about its long-term future. Rory has been sharing his plan for both, gaining support all over.
We’ll be headed to Las Vegas in the morning after a good night’s rest in Reno.
Don’t forget to check out our office openings in Las Vegas and Reno on Tuesday night. Rory will be at the Las Vegas opening and his wife, Cindy, will be in Reno.
Check our events page for more details.
And on behalf of Rory, a special thank you to all the folks who helped our rural tour be a success. It’s an awesome thing to see the passion of Nevadans. Thank you.
